Entering the trade: Entering with Punch Partnerships
Taking an agreement from Punch Partnerships is pretty similar to running your own business. The difference is that rather than owning the pub, you are leasing it. Typical entry into one of our pubs can start from around £20,000.
The agreement operates around a very simple principle.
- We supply you with the pub, which usually has living accommodation.
- We also offer a fantastic range of leading drinks brands, which we discount to you at various rates dependant on your agreement type, starting currently at £66 per barrel discount off the brewer's standard wholesale price on the top 10 brands.
- Gaming machines and other amusement and coin operated machines are provided from an approved list of suppliers. On AWP gaming machines you and Punch Partnerships share in the costs of operating and we both receive 50% of the net profit. Other machines are provided on an income share basis between you, the supplier and Punch Partnerships.
- In return, you pay an annual rent for the business.
- You buy your contracted drinks requirements from Punch Partnerships and keep the property, and fixtures and fittings in good order as well as meeting the running costs of your business.
- All remaining profits generated within the business are yours.
