Choosing a pub and and an agreement
Punch advertises Pubs to let in two ways, which are summarised below:
1. Pubs available on new agreements
This is the most commonly chosen way to rent a pub. This is where you apply to Punch to run your own pub and if successful we provide you with details of any pubs currently available to let that may suit your requirements. You will be provided with details of trading history with Punch and the agreement options available for you to choose from. For more information read
choosing your
agreement
.
2. Pubs available on transfer
An important feature of our lease agreements is the ability of our Partners to transfer or sell their agreement after two years. These Pubs are advertised as transfers and normally you are required to pay a transfer premium to take over this existing agreement. How much you should pay for a transfer depends on your assessment of the business goodwill generated by the existing pub operator. For more information read our
guide to transfers
