This section provides guidance on the things you need to consider if you have progressed to the point of having found your pub and are planning how to set up the business for when you take over.

We presume at this point that you have completed all of our pre entry requirements and are progressing to take on your chosen pub.

Be aware of statutory obligations

In setting up your business you should also be aware of all legal obligations imposed by Central or Local Government for example; licensing and environmental health legislation. Our Partnership Development Managers can advise you in this area.

Before entering into a legal commitment you should seek independent professional advice from a solicitor, a valuer and a building surveyor.
